Every year, the Koningstheateracademie in ’s-Hertogenbosch presents a series of graduation performances by its final-year students spanning theatre, cabaret, and musical performance. These shows mark the culmination of years of creative development and serve as a vital stepping stone for each performer’s professional career.
For this edition, LITSTILL was tasked with capturing all nine graduation performances, creating high-quality video recordings that would both preserve the artistic integrity of each piece and provide the graduates with professional material for future use.
LITSTILL handled the complete camera direction and editing for all nine evening performances. Working with minimal interference during live shows, our team carefully planned camera setups to ensure every nuance from stage lighting to audience reaction was authentically captured.
Each performance had its own tone, rhythm, and atmosphere, demanding a tailored approach to both cinematography and editing. The goal was to stay true to the character of each production while maintaining a consistent visual quality across the full series.
The result was a collection of nine professionally produced performance films that document the creative diversity of the graduating class.
The recordings not only serve as an archive for the academy but also as portfolio material for the young artists stepping into the professional world. With LITSTILL’s production, the Koningstheateracademie now holds a polished, cohesive record of its students’ talent — celebrating the future of theatre, cabaret, and performance art.
